Alocasia "Ninja"

Araceae · Alocasia reginula cultivar (Borneo)

€10 · Coming soon

Thick arrow-shaped leaves, a green so dark it reads as black, with a metallic sheen and pale veins that press the blade into raised sections. It stays compact and puts up with slightly lower humidity than other Alocasia, though not with the dry air of a radiator. In winter it may drop its leaves and start again from the rhizome: it is not dead, it is resting.
