Terrariums built by hand
Small worlds built by hand, where the iridescent begonias and tropical rarities grown here meet mosses, selaginellas and chosen filler plants to form little ecosystems worth collecting.
They are not available yet, and there is no date. We are building up stock and refining the compositions: a terrarium ships when the plants inside have genuinely rooted, not when the website is ready to sell it.
What will be inside
- The living layer
- Iridescent begonias, Sonerila and Selaginella uncinata: the species that flash metallic when the light catches them sideways.
- The undergrowth
- Live mosses and small ferns, chosen to cover the substrate without smothering the main plants.
- The structure
- Mangrove wood, lava rock and expanded clay: they hold the composition up and drain without rotting.
- The base
- Sphagnum, perlite and biochar in the same proportions we already use for propagation.
Leave your email and I will tell you when they are ready.
No commitment and no payment. This list is kept separate from the newsletter: it is used for this one notice only, and you can leave it whenever you like.
