Alocasia "Venom"

Araceae · A mutation of A. 'Amazonica', selected in South Korea (2019)

€45 – €80 · Coming soon

Shield-shaped leaves with a wavy margin and a drawn-out tip that narrows into something like a tail — the feature that tells it apart at a glance. New leaves emerge dark green and lighten as they mature, settling into a matte silver finish that never darkens again. It began as a spontaneous mutation of Alocasia 'Amazonica', spotted in 2019 by Mason Lee in South Korea: a cultivar, not a species.
