HESI PowerZyme
Enzyme complex from Trichoderma viride: breaks down dead roots and keeps the substrate clean.
Roots that die stay in the pot and become the place the next bout of rot starts from. PowerZyme is an enzyme solution derived from Trichoderma viride that breaks them down and returns them as available nutrition, denying pathogens their culture medium.
In doing so it improves root oxygenation and the microbial balance of the substrate. It is especially useful where the substrate is dense or reused — and in semi-hydro systems and self-watering pots, where water stands, it is the difference between a clean reservoir and one that smells.
The dose is 2 ml per litre, once or twice a week, alongside your usual feed.

How to use it
Alongside the fertiliser, once or twice a week. Do not mix it with peroxide or disinfectants: these are enzymes, and you will kill them.
