Propagator XL

Forty individual pots on two removable trays, a tall dome with two vents, and a watertight base.

Propagator XL

Forty separate pots means every cutting gets its own space: roots do not tangle, and the ones that are ready move without disturbing the rest. The two trays of twenty pull out one at a time, which matters when half the cuttings are ahead and half are not.

It is for seeds, cuttings and wet sticks, and the reason it works is the microclimate: steady humidity, warmth and airflow control reduce drying stress, raise germination rates and shorten rooting times. And because every plant sits in its own pot, potting one on does not disturb its neighbours.

The dome is tall and has two adjustable vents: close them to root quickly, then open them gradually to harden off without collapsing the seedlings. The clear sides let plenty of light through.

The base is watertight and collects the drainage, so it can sit on a shelf or inside a cabinet without wetting anything — and that is also what makes bottom watering possible. The full version includes two USB lights, which turn it into a germination station usable even in a dark room.

How to use it

Close the vents to root, then open them a little at a time over two weeks to harden off. It is the step people skip, and the cuttings pay for it. With the watertight base you can water from below, which is gentler on cuttings.
